WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is the natural healing energy which flows through the body, in fact this energy flows through ‘everything’. The Japanese word for Reiki means “Universal Life Force Energy”. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy. In Japan it is known as ‘Ki’, in India ‘Prana’, and in China it is known as ‘Chi’. Acupuncture, Tai Chi & Yoga are also based on the free flow of this energy in a person. Reiki is a simple, safe, effective therapy which uses this energy to promote healing on all levels…physical, mental and emotional

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Illness is a stressful time in our lives. Reiki can help us cope by encouraging relaxation, and bringing balance and a natural calm meditative state to the mind.

Reiki’s gentle energy is easily adapted to most medical conditions and may be used safely with babies, pregnant mothers, surgical patients, the frail and elderly and in any situation. Many clients report an improvement in their overall well-being through receiving regular Reiki treatments, in addition to sleeping better and feeling less stressed.

Being complementary, Reiki works effectively alongside Orthodox healthcare and natural remedies, expanding treatment options.

Reiki can enhance your everyday living, and regular sessions may help to promote development of a healthier, more resourceful state of being.
